Breakfast is superb , great choice of buffet and you can order any hot dish a la carte style. If you are a family with children I would say under age of 12 then you need to really consider if this is going to be the right environment for you.
My children 7 and 10 told me they were being told off by Filippo pool man in the hat for jumping in the pool , splashing and wait for it swimming under water. On the last day my son said Filippo actually told him not to swim in the pool.
I reported to reception this was unacceptable as its kinda unavoidable at any family hotel to ask children not to jump in a pool or splash. The nice lady on reception I felt took all my points on board and said she would let the manager know. Disappointingly the manager didn't come and find us. Other families I spoke to said they had same problem with the pool staff.
We visited last week of august and by then the hotel probably had more adults without children than families. I get the fact that adults I get the fact that adults without kids dont see our kids enjoying themselves in the same way can I add I didnt know of any guests complaining , in my opinion it was the staff of the hotel that were doing the complaining.
So Monte Mulini management decide if you want to stay a family hotel and stop telling the children they cannot swim in the pool when they have as much right as any adult. Whoever is the manager pls don't reply to my post with a we are sorry to hear If you want to get in touch and explain the actions of your staff the nice lady on reception will remember me Iam sure room checked out last Saturday evening.
